Happy New Year!

1 Jan

As I promised, here’s today’s post. It’s the first of january, which means one thing: most people are hung over and sleeping in their beds, some of them with some guy/chick they met in the evening. Except for me. And many other people, I hope. I actually celebrated new year’s eve with my parents and my sister, watching TV and eating delicious food. Oh, and of course, drinking champagne. I hate champagne, but I do drink it on this special event. It’s once a year, I can live with that. :)

Anyway, I wish you all a very happy new year with lots of love, health and wealth. May all your wishes come true. Try to forget about your fears and make your dreams come true. ‘Cause if the Mayans were right, we won’t have any chance to accomplish the things we always wanted next year. Hopefully, they are wrong. ;)

I said this on Twitter, I wanted do make a list of 100 things I should definitely, without question do in 2012 but in the end I only ended up with 17 or 18 points, so the plan backfired. :P Oh well, I’ll at least try to make those 17 things happen.

Now, let’s take time to remember 2011. I can say it was one of the best (if not the best) years of my life. I got to know new people, I got to go to insanely great parties, I spent lots of time with my friends and family.  The last and epicest Harry Potter came out, that’s always a nice thing to remember. I travelled a lot, too. I went to Lisbon, Milan, and Granada, Alicante, Barcelona plus other beautiful parts of Spain. However, I had to move out this year. I went from Madrid to Budapest, leaving my bestest friends behind. It was so sad and I wanna see them again. Fortunately, 2012 will give me a chance to do it. It’s actually my resolution: see my friends in Madrid. I just have to wait for summer.

And the first hours of 2012 started out quite good for me. First of all, I got a weird but funny message from a guy I like around 1 am. It didn’t say anything special, but I was happy about it because usually I’m the one starting the conversation with him and the opposite just happened. Also, it started to snow. I was glad, it did not snow like at all here in Budapest this winter, but unfortunately it stopped shortly after. Hope it will come back. Now I’m studying. School starts the day after tomorrow, on the 3rd. I have a long history lesson to learn, it’s around 70 pages. I sort of learnt it already, but I can’t remember the dates! Wish me luck on the exam!

That’s all for now. I hope I’ll get to write more and once again, happy new year!

Merry Christmas!

23 Dec

I feel it in my fingers,

I feel it in my toes

Christmas is all around me

And so the feeling grows

That movie’s awesome. :D Anyway, what the song’s telling is true. Even if Christmas feeling arrived late this year to me, I still catched it a few days ago. It snowed a little bit in the past days, plus school break made me prepare myself more for the holidays. All my gifts are wraped up, I’ll give them tomorrow to my family. And I can’t wait to see what Santa got me! Also, the tree has been decorated today, it looks cute and lovely.

(That’s not it, just a random tree I searched on Google.)

Anyway, not much has happened to me in the last month, I’m okay, I’m fine, I love Christmas. Since I still have to prepare myself a bit for it, I won’t write very much, I’ll just wish you all a very merry holiday and I promise I’ll write more from now on, especially on new year’s eve! :D

Best wishes!

No ideas for the title, sorry

School was out this week and I was on holiday. It felt good to be free and all, but my god was I bored! I didn’t do much: I went outside for a walk twice and I went shopping with my mom once, but that’s all. My friends were busy or not around, so I couldn’t do anything with them. We didn’t even celebrate Halloween! I just stayed at home. I didn’t even have much homework. Just 10 sentences to write down for history class. Oh, and study for an exam I’ll have next Wednesday, but I didn’t feel like studying. And Wednesday’s still faaar away… :D

So, in my boredom, I had an idea and rediscovered the Sims 2. Since the Sims 3 came out, I have almost never played with the previous one. Anyway, I made a family: a normal guy and a beautiful asian girl (I always thought of creating an asian Sim but I always forgot, but now it came to my mind again). I had them come together, get married and have a baby boy. I have many times created a happy family with everyone loving each other, but as the time went by, I realised how boring it was. And I didn’t want to be bored again, so my couple got divorced, the mom is rasing the baby alone, she has no job and right now I’m waiting for the baby to grow up to be a teenager and get the mom sick so she can die. I know, I’m a huge son of a bitch for doing that, but hey, I’m bored!

So yeah, that’s what I did during the holidays. Pretty exciting, isn’t it? …

Also, winter’s around the corner and the time schedule had to be changed last weekend. And now it is so dark at such an early time! I lived in Spain for 4 years so I got used to the light there, the sky always became dark at quite a late time, at 6 or 7 PM in winter and around 9 PM in summer, but over here in Hungary it is already dark at like 4 PM! It’s so weird… But I guess I’ll get used to it.

Here you go, I got nothing else to say. I’ll go back to listening to my Deathly Hallows part 2 soundtrack – it’s so awesome and epic! See you next time! :)

I’m back!

21 Oct

So, after almost a month of being away, I’m here again. I didn’t forget about the blog at all, I just didn’t know what to say. Sure, a lot happened during these last three of four weeks, but somehow I didn’t manage to write my opinion about them down. So lets just sum everything up, shall we?

First of all, at the end of September, we went on a school trip. It was a 28 km-long bike-tour around lake Velence (search it up on the map of Hungary) and it was nice, very nice! I sure got tired, but it was worth it! We’ve seen beautiful landscapes, we had a lot of fun and we did some sports. It was great. But this was only one day of the trip. There was a second one too. And on that particular day we had class therapy (some people don’t get along well, so the teachers wanted to do something in order to stop that). We thought that it was going to suck, and we were surprised. Sure, it wasn’t fantastic, but it was enjoyable. They told us to do silly games and activities and we had a good time. Although, I don’t think this therapy helped the class a lot. They are still some rivalries and I don’t think anything can change that.

Then, on a cloudy Thursday morning in October, my classmate gave me the news that Steve Jobs had passed away. This was a total shock. I stayed speechless for seconds. It’s such a shame. geniuses shouldn’t die. It was very sad news. I wrote an email to Apple fulled with all my condolences. RIP Steve. You’ll stay in our hearts. And thank you so much for my lovely green iPod.

One day following these tragic news, I saw something that astonished and thrilled me for life. You see, it was a Friday. I was on the bus, on my way home after a busy day of school. Strangely, the traffic was slow. It never happened to be like that, not even on Fridays. As we got closer and closer, we found out that an accident had happened. And when we managed to see everything, everyone on the bus got silent.  The ambulance was there. A car was in front of it. And between the two cars layed a body, all wrapped up.  We could only see his/her red Converse shoes. And if that wasn’t horrible enough, there was blood almost everywhere. I have never seen so much blood in my life. It was a terrible view. I’ve only seen it for two seconds, but I’m sure it’ll never leave my memory.

Back to some “happier” news now. Two weeks ago I discovered the best series ever. Actually, it only contains three episodes in its first season, but these are 90-minute-episodes! And they’re fucking awesome! (In fact, so awesome that they make a shy little girl like me swear. ;) ) The series is none other than Sherlock, a modern adaptation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes. The plot is set in 21st century London, Mr. Holmes is played by cuteness itself, Benedict Cumberbatch (best name ever!) and Dr. Watson is played by Martin Freeman. I know I’m repeating myself, but Sherlock is amazing! It’s perfection! I’m addicted to it, and they are only three episodes yet! I can’t wait for season 2, but Wikipedia says it only starts next year. :( I love Sherlock Holmes. Every Sherlock Holmes actually: in Conan Doyle’s novel, played by Jeremy Brett, in Guy Richie’s adaptation… I just love this character. I wish he existed in real life. That would be awesome.

And since it’s the 21st of October, it can only mean one thing: IT’S MY BESTIE’S BIRTHDAY! HAPPY BIRTHDAY KOKO, I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU!

Friday

23 Sep

I know what you thought by reading the title. We we so excited, right? Don’t deny it, you thought of Rebecca Black. Yes, you did. ;)

Anyway, Rebecca Black doesn’t know how to sing but there’s one thing she knows and that’s that friday is the only school day you don’t feel depressed. And finally the weekend has come. My only problem with this particular weekend is I don’t have any plans. So I guess I’ll stay home and get bored. But if everything goes okay, I might get to see an old friend of mine on Sunday. Apart from that, I don’t have anything to do. Besides studying… and homework. But let’s not think about that.

So how was my week? Although it was a little tiring and long I survived and after all, it didn’t go bad. I had 4 exams during the week and I hope I’m not wrong but I feel like I’ve done pretty well. Running 2 kilometers today at PE got me really tired but it felt good and refreshing.

What else felt refreshing? All the new season premieres that came out this week. I was so happy when I got my new dose of How I Met Your Mother and The Big Bang Theory in the last days. They sure made me laugh. So that was nice. :)

And how’s my school? It’s like a school. I won’t say anything good about it, because it’s a school. Have you ever heard any student complement their school? But there’s one thing I’ll say though and that’s I miss Madrid so much. I miss every single thing about it. Sol, Gran Vía, Puerta de Alcalá, Cibeles, Retiro, Parque Juan Carlos, Arturo Soria, Serrano, Castellana… and most certainly: my friends. :( I wanna see all of them again but I don’t know when’s the next time I’ll get there. If I could, I’d go right now, but, well, I can’t. So Madrid, you’ll just have to wait. But I’m trying everything to get to see my friends again as soon as possible!!! So, while I’m waiting to see these pictures again in real life, I’m just gonna look at these beautiful photographs that aren’t mine (I’m not on my own computer right now, I don’t have any of my photos) and share them with you.

Waving hello!

17 Sep

Hello world and welcome to my blog!

I’m just a teenage girl from Hungary who would like to share her thoughts about life with the curious individuals who step by at this site.

So who am I really?  My name is Agnes. You can call me Agi. I love animals, traveling and I’m a total movie freak. I like all sorts of music let it be jazz or pop and I never thought about who my favorite musician is.  I also like to read, and fantasy stories are the ones that mostly impress me. I love my friends, and since I just moved back to Budapest this summer from Madrid, I really-really-really miss my friends in Spain!

I’m 16 years old, currently living in Budapest (Hungary) but I have lived in Spain and Portugal too, making those two countries my favorite ones in the world. I speak hungarian, english, spanish and french and I’m planing to write some posts in all these languages at least once on my blog, but I guess I will especially be using english.

About my personality: I can be really happy one day and super depressed the other so  don’t be surprised if my feelings change in a small amount of time. I’m also very shy and timid in real life, but hopefully I won’t give a sign about that here on the internet. I usually get stressed by an exam and I can get angry very quickly… but I always try to act at least a tiny bit nice.

So, that would be a short biography of mine, and I guess this is the end of the post since I have nothing else to say, so I’ll see you next time!
