As I promised, here’s today’s post. It’s the first of january, which means one thing: most people are hung over and sleeping in their beds, some of them with some guy/chick they met in the evening. Except for me. And many other people, I hope. I actually celebrated new year’s eve with my parents and my sister, watching TV and eating delicious food. Oh, and of course, drinking champagne. I hate champagne, but I do drink it on this special event. It’s once a year, I can live with that.
Anyway, I wish you all a very happy new year with lots of love, health and wealth. May all your wishes come true. Try to forget about your fears and make your dreams come true. ‘Cause if the Mayans were right, we won’t have any chance to accomplish the things we always wanted next year. Hopefully, they are wrong.
I said this on Twitter, I wanted do make a list of 100 things I should definitely, without question do in 2012 but in the end I only ended up with 17 or 18 points, so the plan backfired.
Oh well, I’ll at least try to make those 17 things happen.
Now, let’s take time to remember 2011. I can say it was one of the best (if not the best) years of my life. I got to know new people, I got to go to insanely great parties, I spent lots of time with my friends and family. The last and epicest Harry Potter came out, that’s always a nice thing to remember. I travelled a lot, too. I went to Lisbon, Milan, and Granada, Alicante, Barcelona plus other beautiful parts of Spain. However, I had to move out this year. I went from Madrid to Budapest, leaving my bestest friends behind. It was so sad and I wanna see them again. Fortunately, 2012 will give me a chance to do it. It’s actually my resolution: see my friends in Madrid. I just have to wait for summer.
And the first hours of 2012 started out quite good for me. First of all, I got a weird but funny message from a guy I like around 1 am. It didn’t say anything special, but I was happy about it because usually I’m the one starting the conversation with him and the opposite just happened. Also, it started to snow. I was glad, it did not snow like at all here in Budapest this winter, but unfortunately it stopped shortly after. Hope it will come back. Now I’m studying. School starts the day after tomorrow, on the 3rd. I have a long history lesson to learn, it’s around 70 pages. I sort of learnt it already, but I can’t remember the dates! Wish me luck on the exam!
That’s all for now. I hope I’ll get to write more and once again, happy new year!
